This week Bitter Fictions played live in-studio.
Bitter Fictions is the project of local writer, musician, and 'outside' music guru Devin Friesen. He was in the studio to play some tracks from his catalog including a track from his forthcoming LP which will be released Sunday March 24 at Local 510.
You can get a taste of what to expect from this live set.
Download a recording of the show (including Devin's live set) in mp3 format here. The performance starts around the 38 min. mark.
Up until last year, Devin also hosted one of my favourite cjsw programs, Each One Teach One, focusing on the noisier, more experimental side of rock music. You can still catch him doing an occasional show fill on programs such as this one, Off-duty Trip, or Noise.
Devin also brought some records of significant influence to him to play and talk about.
