"Ear-grabbers of 2010" Part I
Download mp3 or ogg
This week I started my look back at 2010 and highlighted some of the music that caught my ear. Some releases were highly anticipated and delivered on their promise and some were wonderful discoveries.
The tracks: Heart Failure Research Unit - Under the Line, Kenseth Thibideau - Black Hole, Kyst - Bicycles, Mimicking Birds - The Loop, Efterklang - The Soft Beating, Disappears - Little Ghost, Women - Eyesore, Michael Santos - Hollowing Out, Jefre Cantu-Ladesma - Stained Glass Body, Noveller - Almost Alright, Jon Mueller - Remembered, Yellow Swans - Foiled, Offthesky - Fear of Flora, Mark Templeton - Broken & Remade, Richard A. Ingram - The Melioramentum, Danny Paul Grody - Hungry/Haunted, Ryan Fransesconi - Lost Years, Wil Bolton - Nylon, Rothko - Wake to Tomorrow, Woodworkings - Former Daughters of the American Revolution, Taishi Kamiya - Air, Federico Durand - Mi Pequeno Mundo De Papel, and No More Shapes - New Years (Yves').
The links to the archived show recordings should be good for up to a month from the show date. If the links expire just let me know via comment and I'll re-upload them.
Unfortunately the cost of using free file sharing sites such as mediafire is possible exposure to questionable advertising in the form of nasty pop-ups (sorry). Prior to visiting the download links above I highly recommend installing and using pop-up, flash and ad-blocking extensions in your web browser on top of solid antivirus/internet security protection. Doing so hides/blocks all of that crap.
