This week I was joined in the studio by Krzysztof Sujata aka (Valiska). He has helped organize what will be a fantastic night of soundscapes, drones and experimentation on Nov. 1 at Vern's Tavern. We played some music from the artists appearing on Thursday as well as something from Valiska's latest release and some other good stuff he has been into lately.

Katharsis Oct. 21 '12 - FUNDING DRIVE

Thanks to everyone who pledged during the show, and during the funding drive. Together we raised $1580 on the show and just over $213,000 during the course of the drive to help keep cjsw healthy and vibrant for another year. All money raised goes to capital costs and maintenance. Plans are in place to up our FM transmitter power to 20,000 Watts, to increase our online streaming capacity and podcasting, as well as to release a cjsw mobile app. If you haven't already, please make sure you pay your pledge.
